What is 24Carret?
Carret is a one stop crypto investment platform. It offers a trading platform where you can buy & sell the assets as well as earn interest on your crypto assets.“24Carret” is the Crypto Savings Account platform for our users who want to earn an interest on their crypto holdings. The returns offered are upto 17% APY.
Who are the team members at Carret?
Carret is being built by Neha and Shuja who have experience of building products for millions of Indians and handled portfolios worth thousands of crores with years of crypto experience with them. Carret is founded by Neha, a graduate from IIT BHU, one of the most premium engineering institutions of India and Shuja, a graduate from IIM Ahmedabad - India’s most premium MBA institute. Neha was part of Flipkart for 4 years and has handled the scaling of Big Billion day to millions of people and Shuja has achieved de-risking of Yes Bank’s portfolio to the tune of ~>1,000Cr as well as established the upGrad’s most premium MBA product.
How does Carret provide a return to its users?

Where is Carret incorporated?
Carret generates a return by diversifying the deposited crypto assets across various institutional borrowers, protocol level staking and de-fi protocols to yield maximum returns at reduced risk levels. Carret’s team carefully shortlists the institutional borrowers after vetting them to lend out the crypto assets to generate a yield. Carret keeps collateral against these lending to the institutions to eliminate any risk of default. Carret’s expert team constantly monitors the risk and actively manages the pool of diversified funds to offer steady returns to our users.
Does Carret offer interest on only stablecoins?
Carret will offer interest on other crypto assets as well along with stablecoins. We will start with a small set of assets which have a track record of relative stability at the protocol level.
How can I get access to Carret?
You can get early access to “24Carret” by downloading our app and signing up on our Android and iOS apps. You can also get access by joining the waitlist on our website and you will be informed via email once your access arrives.
Are the returns guaranteed?
Carret strives to provide a stable return to our users. We will publish the returns at the beginning of the month and that will be the applicable return for the individual assets for the particular month. We will inform you of any changes at the start of the month.
When do I start earning interest?
When you transfer your assets from Carret Wallet to 24Carret Wallet, you will begin to earn interest on depsoited assets.
How can I withdraw funds?
On your Carret app, you need to move the crypto assets from “24Carret” to your trading account and then you can either convert it into fiat and withdraw or choose to directly withdraw the crypto asset.
How long does it take to process withdrawals?
Carret facilitates instant withdrawal of INR funds. Crypto withdrawals may depend upon the on-chain fees & congestion. INR withdrawals are generally processed within 5 minutes but at times of peak traffic at banking partner’s end, the funds might get delayed and take up to 24 hours to reach you.
Are my funds safe on Carret?
Yes, your funds are extremely safe with Carret. Carret has partnered with Fireblocks, one of the world’s leading custodian of crypto assets for ensuring the safety of our user’s assets and deposits. Carret regularly audits the protocols and the creditworthiness of its partners to ensure the safety of funds. Carret uses multi-signature authentications to ensure security of assets and also uses protection against DDoS attacks.
INR & Crypto deposits
How can I deposit INR funds on Carret?
You will need to sign up on the Carret platform through the Carret app. After signing up, finish filling in your basic details (Name, Age etc), add your bank account and finish your KYC (takes less than 30 seconds). Once you are signed up and KYC is done, you can easily deposit INR through our payment partner- Mobikwik.
Is there a minimum deposit?
For the Carret trading platform, the minimum deposit is INR 200.
Is there a maximum limit on how much I can invest with Carret?
We believe in giving financial freedom to our users and hence we have not kept any maximum amount to invest with Carret. We request you to do your research and due diligence before making any investments but we will not limit your investing capabilities by putting a cap on the maximum amount.
In case of facing any issues, what should I do?
You can reach out to us through our support channel by writing to us at contact@carret.in. We will get back to you as soon as possible, generally in less than 24 hours.
What is the process to complete my KYC?
Carret has partnered with a best-in-class KYC provider to ensure that your KYC is done in less than 30 seconds. You just need to provide your Name and PAN, and upload a photo of PAN, take a selfie and you are done.
How long does it take for my INR deposits to show up in my account?
INR deposits made on Carret reflect instantly once the transaction is successful.
Will I be able to deposit crypto directly on Carret?
You can choose to directly deposit your Crypto assets on Carret tentatively from April 2022.
Which crypto assets will be supported by Carret?
Carret currently supports ~60 crypto assets on the trading platform. For your Savings Account- 24Carret, we will start with mostly large cap coins- BTC, ETH, MATIC, LUNA, SOL, AVAX and three stablecoins – USDC, USDT & UST. We will add more assets to our savings account platform, as and when our users request other crypto assets.
Taxation and Insurance
What are the applicable taxes on my crypto holdings?
In the 2022 budget, a 30% tax on profits on the “virtual digtal assets” has been introduced which will be applicable from 1st April 2022. Any gains before April will also attract tax, just not under the 30% tax bracket by default. Please consult your tax-advisors before filing your taxes.
Will Carret help us with tax advisory?
Carret will try resolving your queries related to taxation. You can reach out to us on contact@carret.in with your queries. However, please note that Carret is not a registered tax advisor, hence we recommend you to consult your accountant before filing your taxes.
Is my balance in Carret insured?
Carret has a very thorough risk management in place to manage the risk levels for generating yields. Carret only works with best-in class partners and blockchain protocols to generate optimal returns for our users at minimal risks. However, crypto assets within Carret and its custodians are not covered by any kind of deposit protection insurance policy.

Identity verification is required in order to comply with KYC (Know Your Customer) regulations. KYC is a way of identifying and confirming that a customer is who they say they are. It's a multi-step process that helps to prevent the creation and use of fraudulent accounts.
What documents do I need to submit for KYC verification?
You will need to submit the following document to complete your KYC:
• Tax ID Verification: PAN Card (mandatory for Indian users)
Can I trade on Carret without completing my KYC?
It is mandatory for a user to complete their KYC to do any trade on the platform.
Can I make deposits/withdrawals on Carret without completing my KYC?
A user can deposit/withdraw INR on the platform only after the KYC verification.
Why did my KYC verification fail?
KYC verification could have failed for any of the following possible reasons:
1. Details you entered didn't match with the details on the images of the documents you have submitted.
2. Submitted images were blurred or have too much glare making the text on the images difficult to read.
3. Submitted images are missing a required detail.
4. Documents belong to a minor, i.e., below 18 years of age.
5. KYC with the same set of documents (Multiple KYC).
In order to prevent such errors, please ensure to follow the guidelines provided below:
1. Please make sure the lighting is proper.
2. Avoid using any filters or image editing software on the image.
3. Do not crop your selfie. Align your face in the oval shape visible on the screen and click the picture.
4. Avoid wearing spectacles or glasses for the picture.
• All required sides of the document and the characters in it should be clearly visible.
1. Only submit images of the original documents. Photocopies, scanned documents, or Digilocker documents are not accepted.
2. Please upload a high-quality image with clear text and without any glare or blur.
3. Your name should match the name on the document. The order, abbreviations (if any), and spellings of the first name and the last name you entered in the fields should be the same as they are in the documents you have uploaded.
4. Size of the document should not exceed more than 4 MB.
5. Documents should be in .jpeg, .jpg or .png format.
